Self-confidence is the self-assurance in your ability, power, and judgment. With self-confidence, you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to do. That is why it is necessary to build up our confidence. Self-confidence is about balance, some people are overconfidence while some are under-confidence, and you need the right amount of confidence to succeed.

Under-confidence limits your abilities; you avoid taking risks and stretching yourself or probably not try anything at all. However, being overconfidence may lead to taking too much risk, stretching yourself beyond your abilities which will result in crashing badly.

The people around you influence your self-confidence in one way or the other. This is the time to evaluate your friends and family. How do they make you feel? Do you feel downcast or empowered after talking to them? You need to consider getting away from people who tear down your confidence and who put you down.

You need to stay active, let your interactions with others fume real enthusiasm. Stop focusing on your past failures and focus on solutions and making positive changes.   2. Smile: keep smiling no matter how bad or tiresome your day looks, smiling makes you feel better and also make people more comfortable with you.
